RapidFax is primarilly an Email-Fax service with an online manager.
We've taken the time to get a trial account so we can provide you with a complete review, including a video portion.
When you signup with RapidFax you should get all your information in an email.
- Your toll-free fax number (give this to people who want to send a fax to you)
- Your username (usually your main email address)
- Instructions on sending faxes
Essentially, when your email address is authorized, any email you send to RapidFax with a # as the name, will be sent out as a fax.
So if I wanted to fax 1-877-756-9735 I would use my authorized email address to send an email to 18777599735@rapidfax.com
Once that email reaches RapidFax's service it will be converted to a fax (including any valid attachments) and delivered to the phone number you provided.
The instant that fax is delivered you will get a confirmation email letting you know the delivery time and number of attempts.
Recieving a fax is even easier, you will simply get an email with the fax as an attachment. (.PDF or .TIFF)
There is an online portion of the site that allows you to choose certain options, add more security, and get reports. We will be doing a video review of the site that will feature a review of the web-based options.
